As it is a popular race, entries are limited to 2 teams per club in the first instance, but we usually manage to get 3 teams entered; men, women and mixed.
The race is an 8-leg relay which follows the Test Way footpath.
The legs range from 7.1km to 11.2km and it is a really fun, friendly event which finishes at the Salmon Leap pub in Totton, where we usually all meet up to cheer in the last leg runners.
Ladies / mixed team start 10.30, Men start 11.30am.
The route is sign-posted with small green arrows, however because the race is not marshalled it is strongly recommended that runners recce their route prior to race day.
Female runners are allowed to run accompanied, which can be very useful if you are a bit worried about the route - I know, it's sexist!
The club kindly pays for entry.
