The British Masters Association Road Relay championships are to be held at Sutton Park Birmingham on 18th May. This is a tag relay on traffic free paved park roads and each leg is about 5km. These BMAF championships are open to all first claim WADAC athletes aged 35 and over and it is not necessary to be a member of a Vets Club - you are racing for WADAC and wearing WADAC vests.

We can enter multiple teams in an age category (although only our first team in an age group can win medals) but we like to try and enter as many age categories as possible. For this event the age groups are "on the 5's" so it's a great chance to mix things up and run with different team combos....late 40's and early 50's could be good for us. Also a particular shout-out to those Vets under 45 and those over 55, we need you to fill those age brackets. Anyone over 65 wanting to run please register in the V55 category where you can run down a group but if numbers permit we will try and enter a team in your appropriate age group.

This a great fun National event and one where our ladies have medalled in the past.
