Registration

  • Men capable of sub 38 minutes and women capable of sub 42 minutes
The club has been granted a number of places in the 2015 BUPA London 10k which will be held on Monday 25th May starting at 10.00 am.

These places are free to members and usually provide access to some of the front pens and athlete facilities reserved for club runners. This is a fantastic opportunity to race near the front of a large field and blast past some of London's iconic landmarks without the pain of doing a full marathon.

This event serves as the EA 10k championships for 2015 so promises a quality field and is an event that we want to do well in.  The ballot process will therefore favour the faster runners but will include some places available to all under general ballot.

All members aged 18+ wishing to participate in the draw are invited to register their interest using this event registration facility.  Please enter in only one category....either as a fast runner (sub 38 men, sub 42 women) or as an "other athlete".

Given the other fixtures that same weekend (Hants T&F Championships, Netley 10k) athletes are encouraged to talk this through with their coach and/or team manager before registering their interest.

Members should note however that public registration for the BUPA London 10k is already open and it is a large public event that is regularly oversubscribed.  If you want to be certain of getting a place you might like to go ahead and register directly via their website.
